"Fine House - Big - Amazing Views!"
Originally from Marin, I was surprised to find out that my friend rented a home for his friends instead of a hotel. I never heard of the Marin Retreat Vacation Home - but it was a fine house, BIG! We had a blast, enjoyed amazing Marin Views (have to say, this was the most impressive part of the home- the views!). It was great. The home packed 20 of us , and even though I live in the city- I opted to hang and be a part of the group. We hiked, cooked, and celebrated. Great place! Good job Bill!

"Unique and Fun home - Great Views - Entertaining!"
We had a great time at this home. During our stay it was raining very hard and the acoustics was very pleasant to listen to. Great house feeling. We lite up the complimentary fire log (made of coffee grounds) and sat around enjoying each other company and the wide open views. The pitter patter of the rain on the roof was very comforting and entertaining for us all. The open feeling of the house made our stay very nice. Thank you - We had a great stay and will recommend this home to our friends. -M

We enjoyed our stay in this beautiful, vacation house!It was so spacious that everyone in our big group had his own comfortable space. We also loved the gourmet kitchen! The view from the balcony outside the living room was spectacular. The house was a few minutes drive to San Francisco and just a short drive to Napa Valley so it was easy for us to travel and see the beautiful attractions. The owners were very easy to contact and were very responsive to our concerns and queries.

"Everyone had a great time in this big house!"
Great house. Everything was as advertised. The location was very convenient for our family reunion. Our outings to San Francisco went without a hitch as well as the day trip to Napa Valley Wine Country. The girls got their shopping, the boys got their Golf, and we all loved the sights! My sister had an easy time with her small kids on this trip because the property was thoughtfully fenced and easy for her to manage their escapades. The background View that the home offered made a great dining and get-together experience. We will be back again. Thanks for a great stay.

"Home has great location!"
It was a great house! Breathtaking Views from almost all room. Big decks. We had lots of room to BBQ. Great kitchen. Huge fridge. Lots of space outside and inside for hanging out. Overall relaxing. Spectacular views from almost everywhere. Great activity binder also- we used it a lot. Great stay- we will be back!

Again, thank you so much for letting us stay and have a great week end ~ ShirleyThe Review:San Rafael, Calif – As we exited Highway 101 and started up the hill to our “villa” as we had defined it, we were so pleased when we parked in the drive way and entered this lovely home. As we ventured through the home, we were thrilled at the views from every room. We had planned for our family and friends to join us for the 4th of July week and I can tell you that we were more than pleased. Each level of this home is perfect. But the prize was that every evening we had the pleasure of watching the fire works. Our whole family had a great time, the outside yard was perfect for our 2 year old’s baseball game and the BBQ area was great. The decks, all three of them left you with breath taking views. As thoroughly enjoyed our week there and would recommend it to anyone, if fact we already have. Thank you again for letting us stay ~ Ron and Shirley Snyder

"Exceptional Location!"
My family and I had a wonderful week's stay in your home in San Rafael . It was exceptionally well located for getting to the places we wanted to visit. This included touring San Francisco on a private bus with a guide, playing golf several times in Novato , walking through Muir Woods, visiting the Napa Valley vineyards along with numerous other activities. There was a lot to do for both adults and grandchildren and the weather was very accommodating. Your binder listing restaurants, shopping areas, etc. was referenced by us a number of times and proved quite helpful in several instances. The spacious house had room for all 18 of us to lounge and play and the view from the deck made a beautiful background for our many family meals and chats. Thanks for a great vacation!

"Plenty of room for all our activities- we had a blast!"
The Marin Vacation Home is a Spectacular place to spend your vacation. Rooms were simplu, and beautifully decorated. The home was very spaciousness and the views were better than expected.
As far as functionality, it was perfect for us scrapbooking "ladies" that love food. The kitchen was beautiful! Great wine fridge for our special Napa discoveries.. Also, my friend, the chef, did a fun show for us, teaching her favorite recipe- Prawn Gumbo- mmm!
Personally, I enjoyed sitting in the living room, talking and soaking up the view. Interestingly for me, there was a family of deer living on the property (So amazing to see- and they don't run away upon sight of you!).
We have been renting numerous homes throughout the years- some in the Wine Country, a couple along the beach in San Francisco- but we all agree- this home was the best location for us all to launch off of for all that we wanted to do!
We are looking forward to making it our home away from home again in the future! Thank you for a great rental home!

"Great Reunion Home".
Our family reunion went so smoothly at this home because it was so roomy and such a joy to cook in! The children used every bit of the property. The oak tree coming up thru the deck was very neat! We enjoyed staying at the home because it had a nice open floor plan that allowed us all to have plenty of space. To everyone reading this - this place is better than a hotel!! Not only is it a better deal, but my bed was comfortable, and that counts big! Everything was clean and fresh. Very nice. T summarize, it was a beautiful place- done in taste. We loved the homes rustic and elegant character and plan on renting again next time we are all in town! Thank you for a great stay! One more thing, we fell in love with Marin County - our family now refers to it as Gods country! The Marin Vacation home sits in an amazing place- you have to come see!
