Transportation to Marin:
Marin is easily accessible, located directly across the Golden Gate Bridge from San Francisco!
- Two (2) International Airports, SFO & OAK are withing 40 minutes from the home.
- Multiple transportation services are available to take you around to top destinations such as Muir Woods and even out to the Wine Country of Sonoma, Napa, and West Marin.

- Limo/ tour buses can take you to the Wine Country direct from the home! Shuttles can take you over Mt Tam, straight to Muir Woods!

Transportation from or near the Marin Vacation Home
Though a car is ideal, it is just a 5min walk to the bus stop down the hill that can take you all over Marin and into other counties, if needed.
Ferry Services in Marin: from the Marin towns of Larkspur, Tiburon and Sausalito one can catch the ferry to San Francisco’s Ferry Terminal. On select events, such as a Giants game at the Pac Bell Ball Park (SF Giants home), the ferry will run at additional times from Larkspur Ferry Terminal (which is only 7 minutes from the home!).
- Angel Island Ferry (a great picnicking, hiking, scenic and historic destination) can be reached by Tiburon or Sausalito Ferry Terminals.
- Alcatraz Island Ferry leaves only via North San Francisco, Pier 33, which can be reached directly by taking the Ferry from Sausalito.

International Airports (for Marin/San Francisco Bay Area)
San Francisco International Airport (SFO) and Oakland International Airport(OAK) -Main international Airports - best to fly into when visiting Marin or San Francisco. Both SFO and OAK are only a 45 minute drive from the Marin Vacation Home Rental.

Airport Shuttles from & To Marin County:
- Marin Airporter Shuttle Service
- picks up every half hour at the highway entrance (2 min's away) and goes direct to San Francisco International Airport (SFO), which is approximately a 40 minute to 1 hour drive from the house. When taking Marin Airporter, the driver will hook you up with Taxi service, upon request, when onboard.

- Muir Beach Dial-A-Ride - Marin Transit is providing curb-to-curb Dial-A-Ride service for Muir Beach residents and visitors to travel between the Muir Beach area and Tam Junction, Tam High School, Manzanita Park & Ride or March City during specific days and time. Service begins on Saturday, March 1, 2008.
