Are there really 6 + official bedrooms, all with real beds?

• Yes, the home is a true 6+ bedroom home, sleeping 20 comfortably!

• All rooms have real beds (5 with Queen beds, 6th bedrm has 2 Full beds)

• Additional two (2) single Fold-a-way beds available, fresh sheets/bedding available.

• Two (2) white leather futons in loft, full size.  Sleeps 2 each.
  

• All rooms are private, cozy, with relaxing views.

• All beds come with plush, fresh, high-thread count, white bedding!

What is the maximum amount of people allowed overnight? 

• Sleeps 20 - 14 people in official beds. / 18 with Loft, using 2 white leather futons, full size /  20 with the 2 fold-a-way beds provided.

• 5/6 bedrooms with Queen beds
  • 6th bedroom has 2 full size beds (sleeping 4)
  • 2 Fold-a-way single beds available with sheets.

Is the home well suited for retreats?

• Perfect for Retreat getaways, Bridal party guests, reunions, and corporate events that seek activities in Marin, organic West Marin, Wine Country (Napa or Sonoma), and San Francisco.
  

• Extremely spacious great room with Ample seating. Includes 3 large sofa's, 2 small tables , granite fireplace, and encompassing panoramic "open space" views.

• Spacious Formal Dining area, adjacent to great room, enjoys incredible views also.

• "American Style" Gourmet Kitchen includes top amenities and Opens up to main areas and decks, back and front.

• Bedroom are seperate from main areas letting guests have room to "get-a-way".

Is there seating outside?

*****Plenty of outdoor seating on Patio, and both large decks!  Perfect for group pow-wows!

• Main deck has patio seating for 14 and panoramic Views.

• Adjacent sunny front patio has seating for 4.

• Large lower deck has  patio tables and chairs as well, seating 10.  Nature Views.

3 bedrooms connect out to this Lower Deck, as well as a stairwell from Main Deck/Main Level.

•  Master deck seats 2.
•  Lawns areas have benches and seating, see pics.

What is the Loft area like? Can people sleep there?

• Loft area is large, has beautiful views, and looks down onto the main Great Room, gourmet kitchen area, and Main deck.  Very fun because seperate yet with everyone in the home at the same time.

• Loft area has TV, books, games.

• 2 white leather futons sofas are here and can be converted flat for a bed.  Each futon is full size.  Sheets provided upon request.

• Loft is very large, located on the same floor as Master, upper level, but completely seperate.

Are parties allowed?

• Small daytime parties of 25 or less are permitted with permission only (baby showers, birthdays, small ceremonies, etc...).
  

• After sunset, only small parties are permitted, with permission only.
• Great home for bridal party guests when getting married in Marin or San Francisco, even the wine country!

How much parking is available at the home? 

• *Plenty of parking for 7-9 cars ! - Garage parking for 2 cars., Driveway fits 4 cars. - Cull-de-sac can fit another 3 cars comfortably = 9 total.

What amenities are provided?     * Full amenities are provided!!

• cookware, dinnerware, fresh sheets, & towels (bath and hand).

• reading material, books, local activity binder, maps, TV's.

• Wireless Internet, Cable TV/ HBO

• Basic hand soap, Dishwashing Liquid, Laundry detergent (couple loads)

• Toilet paper, Paper Towels (initial supply only).
  

• NO Shampoo or Conditioner (found people like their own kind best)

Can we check-in early? Check-out late?

• Early check-in and late check-outs can only be granted a couple days prior to check-in due to other bookings.

• There is a $50 charge for early or late check-out .

• Please no early drop off of goods, etc, due to liability issues, necessary "showing" of home and updating.

Can we book just one night?

• Last minute booking (ie: 6 days or less before checking-in) will be considered for a one night stay.

What is your cancellation policy?

• 90 day cancellation policy.

• $250 administrative fee for cancelled bookings.

What is the deposit return policy?

• Deposit is fully refundable after check-out provided the place is left in order with normal wear and tear.

How far away is the nearest town? Highway?

• Hwy 101 is just a 2 minute drive (but you wouldn’t know it from the house except for the beautiful lighted views in the distance!).

• Downtown San Rafael (Marin Hub) is just 4minutes away.

Go North Hwy 101 :

• 3 minutes arrive at Northgate Mall I Longs Drugs, Restaurants and Banking. & III ! -  II is a huge indoor mall includes Macy’s, Food Court, Restaurants, etc... III has Safeway, Rite Aid, Starbucks, Ice Cream, and Kinko's/FedEx.
  

• City of Berkley: 15 minutes

• Napa Valley Wineries in just 20 minutes drive!  (Napa is a World Known, Wine region)

 

•  Sonoma, downtown, 30 minutes!

• 20 minute drive, arrive in Petaluma or Vallejo (home to Six Flags Amusement Park).

Go South Hwy 101:

• Go South, 3 minutes, arrive Main Street, downtown San Rafael.  Enjoy Movie Theatre, Cafe's, and lots of shops and kiosks.

• Dominican University is just 5  minute drive.
  

• 15 minutes and you arrive at the Golden Gate Bridge / Golden Gate Recreation Area, Marin Headlands.

• 20 minutes drive and arrive downtown San Francisco.

• Marin Academy is just 5  minute drive.

• 30 minutes arrive in Oakland's OAK, Oakland International Airport.

• 40 minutes to SFO, San Francisco International Airport

• West Marin Towns in 25 minutes: Stinson Beach, Pt. Reyes, Olema, Nicasio, Tomales.

• Alcatraz Island, on the San Francisco Bay!  Get to the tour boat in just 15/20minutes!  (Make Reservations early- it books up in the summer!!)

Is the home child safe?

• Home is very child friendly, but not child proof.
• Plenty of space to roam inside and outside.
• Some child games, books and videos are on the premises.

Are Pets allowed?

• Guide dogs are permitted.

• pets:  Dogs/ small animals are permitted with permission only.
  

• If permitted: additional $200 deposit necessary - fully refundable.

• If permitted, additional, one time $80 cleaning fee due to allergies of guests to come.

Does the home have Air Conditioning and Heat System?

• The home has custom A/C and Heating system throughout; keeping you comfortable!  
• Ceiling fans on upper two levels for cooling without A/C.
  
• Skylights, throughout home, open.

• 3 levels: Upper, Main, & Lower- all with own decks and incredible views!

Upper Level:

• Master Suite (bedroom 1) with View balcony and own bathroom, Walk-in closet.  Queen bed.
• Large Loft area that opens to the main floor layout below (completely seperate from Master bedroom) 
• Loft area has 2 white leather futons, full size, sleeping 4, total.  Sheets available upon request.
  

Main Level: Entrance Level:  No stairs.

• Open "American Style" Gourmet Kitchen, Formal Dining and Great Room- Views throughout.
• Large Main deck- panoramic views- pleanty of seating.
• Bedrooms 2 & 3 - each with Queen beds.  No stairs to each.
• Front Entrance Patio area (no stairs).  Group seating.  Kitchen window access for BBQ's!  ;)
  

Lower Level:

• Bedrooms 4 & 5 - have Queen beds.  Views!
  
• Bedroom 6 - Two (2) full size beds. (full size is equal to 2 twins together), Views!
• Large deck/garden access off each bedroom.
